This course is intended

·        To train the fundamental concepts of the database management system, database modeling, and design, and SQL system implementation techniques.

·        To enable students to model ER diagrams for any customized applications.

·        To provide knowledge on distributed databases, concurrency techniques, federated systems, and active databases.

Students will be able to·         

·        An ability to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, and computing appropriate to the discipline.

·        Solve issues of information systems using the learned database principles.

·        Construct database applications using current tools and techniques.
